THE PINES RESORT

Created by glaciers and surrounded by the rugged mountain ranges of the Southern Alps, Lake Wanaka is one of New Zealand's prettiest sights. And at The Pines Resort, it's yours to behold.

The Pines offers two storey chalet style accommodation in two bedrooms, sleeping up to six people. Each chalet has a bathroom with spa, two toilets, full kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, laundry facilities, TV and VCR. Just outside your door the options begin, with a spa, sauna and swimming pool on site as well as games room and kids' playground, exercise equipment and half court tennis.

Winter or summer, there is plenty to do in the wider area. Head to any of the three ski fields nearby and take a run down the slopes, get adventurous and try jet boating, river rafting, or heli-skiing, or take a glacier walk, visit some of the many historic sites of interest, or simply go trout fishing!
