CLUB LAVAUD

In the lush hills surrounding Christchurch, you'll find a number of charming French settlement villages. The small seaside village of Akaroa, first settled in 1840, is one of the finest, and it is here you'll find Club Lavaud Resort.

Club Lavaud has just four units, each with two bedrooms and two bathrooms - one with spa bath - and room to accommodate up to six people, all behind a white picket fence! All units have fully equipped kitchens with microwave and dishwasher as well as a VCR, washer and dryer.

Being positioned on one of the best deepwater harbours in the world means there are, of course, plenty of water activities available -skiing, power boating, swimming, yachting or windsurfing are just a few of your options. If water sports aren't your thing you could always take a leisurely drive through the evergreen landscape and visit the winery, cheese factory or herb farm. Horse riding, goldfields, and interesting historical sites are also very close by.
